The Stratford is committed to decreasing its footprint on the environment. This is being achieved by using renewable energy in the form of solar heating. Also, durable service
items are used, i.e., china, linen napkins.
There is an on-site garden for fresh in- season produce. Xeric flower gardens surround the b&b and almost a third of the yard is planted in buffalo grass.
Sheet and towel reuse program is an everyday practice for water conservation. Towels are air-dried each day to maintain freshness.
In addition, I recycle through a city program. And, finally, I drive a hybrid car.
